Olde Madrigal Christmas Feaste featuring Treble VOCI
An invitation is
extended to any high school girls in grades 9 through 12
who have a passion about singing fine choral music!
All girls interested in performing
in the Girl's Ensemble sponsored by Voices of Canton,
Inc. should call the business office at
330.455.1000 for an audition time.
A vocal selection of your choice
should be prepared and brought to the audition. An
accompanist will be provided or you may bring your own.
Sight singing, melodic and rhythmic evaluation, and
vocalizing will be included in the audition.
Under the direction of Christine
Riley, she feels auditions are very important. "I
am looking for good voices, good musicianship, mature
attitudes, willingness to take direction,
self-discipline and commitment to excellence.
These characteristics will be expected of all singers
for all performances."
Please consider carefully the
following rehearsal and performance information, as
regular attendance will be expected. Exceptions
will be considered and final decisions made by the
Director. Rehearsals are in Cable Recital Hall in
the Cultural Center for the Arts on Mondays at 4:30 p.m.
This group will be featured in the following programs:
Choral Masterworks, Ye Olde Madrigal Christmas Feaste
and Viva Italia.
Tuition for the year is $120.00 |
